Love
As Alfred, Lord Tennyson said, "Tis better to have loved and lost, than
never to have loved at all." Love can be interpreted many different ways;
usually people will learn some of the hardest lessons of their life through
love. Yet many people never truly understand the importance of love. Another old
saying, "where there is love, there is life," by Gandhi, pretty much
encapsulates the value love can bring us in a lifetime.
Love can be interpreted in many ways. Besides love being time consuming,
there is a lot of pain throughout a relationship between two people. There are
also many happy times and moments. Hearts are broken, and people never truly
recover from lost loves.
There are many lessons that a person learns about love in a lifetime. One
lesson is that not every person you like is someone you love also, trust and
honesty play key roles in love. True love is also a hard lesson to deal with in
a relationship. The biggest difference between real love and infatuation is that
true love means that you meet someone and learn that you can’t live without
them. I believe that there really is only one true love for everyone.
Love, in many times, gives people a sense of completion. It is like a
"void" being filled when that person you love becomes your forever.
Also, there is genuine companionship. It always relieves people when they find
that special someone, because they know that they will now have someone who
gives them their complete attention.
In conclusion, I have shown many diverse things pertaining to love. The hard
lessons, importance of love and how love is interpreted by people. I hope that
everyone, at one point in time, finds their true love.
