I am applying for the teacher apprenticeship program, because I believe "that there is no greater gift in life that the gift of knowledge." If we help educate kids at an earlier age than there is no telling what they will be capable of accomplishing down the road. I have two younger brothers that both have teacher aids at Tritt Elementary, and there is nothing more interesting than hearing about how much they adore those aids. From multiplication tables to poetry books, those aids are there every step of the way, and I too would like the opportunity to impact children’s lives the way my brothers lives have been impacted.
